Make your own balti paste, use a store bought paste or combine them for different options. If not using commercial baltic paste you may need to add 1/2-1 tsp of salt to your curry depending on your tastes. Should be cooked in a steel balti pan over an insane heat for a true authentic flavour. If you want a true authentic Birmingham Balti, it should be served in the same cooking pan along with a naan bread (not rice).
